William D. Waller
William D. Waller is Vice President Engineering & Technical Services of BWAY Corporation, a leading North American supplier of general line metal and rigid plastic containers.
Dan was named to his current position in 2013 through the acquisition of Ropak Packaging. Dan oversees all engineering activities. Today, this includes a wide range of responsibility such as structural productivity initiatives, plant expansions, closures and consolidations projects. His teams manage mold and tooling procurement and standardization, and capital equipment procurement, installation and optimization. They direct planning, organizing, and monitoring preventive maintenance, and technical support for all plant operations. Additionally, among many other responsibilities, Dan’s team compiles, issues and updates product specifications, standards and procedures, and manages regulatory compliance.
Prior to BWAY, Dan worked with Lear Corporation in several locations within the U.S., Sweden, and Belgium. While at Lear Corporation he worked in various roles including Quality Assurance Manager, Engineering Manager and Plant/General Manager. Within these roles he focused on continuous improvement initiatives, as well as ISO and QS900 certifications. Dan has also worked for Rexnord-Falk LLC, as Director of Operations and most recently as Director of Operations for Ropak Packaging.
Dan has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from LaGrange College, Georgia and has many professional achievements, including JD Powers Best in Class Initial Quality Award.
