Michael A. Noel

Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing

Michael A. Noel is Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing of BWAY Corporation, a leading North American supplier of general line metal and rigid plastic containers. In addition, he is an executive officer of the BWAY Parent Company, Inc.

Mike, who has over 22 years of Sales, Marketing, Operations and Six Sigma experience in the Packaging and Paper industry, was appointed to his current position in early 2011. At that time, his team launched a strategy to segment the business while implementing process, metrics and organizational discipline designed to grow and increase the value of BWAY overall.

Prior to joining BWAY in 2010 as Vice President Sales, Mike spent 13 years at Avery Dennison Corporation, most recently serving as Director Sales North America. Key responsibilities included managing global customers, as well as national and regional accounts. He also served as Director Operations Canada overseeing Manufacturing and Distribution while serving as Plant Manager for Avery’s Ajax, Ontario, plant.

During his tenure with Avery Dennison, he did a stint as Commercial Director Six Sigma North America, achieved Six Sigma Black Belt certification and trained as a Master Black Belt. Prior to this, Mike held various Sales and Marketing roles, including Product Line and Business Manager for the Office Products business unit. He started his career and spent five years in various Sales roles with Wisconsin Tissue, a division of Chesapeake Corporation.

He is a member of the American Coatings Association Industry Supplier Committee.

Mike has a Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio.
