Leslie L. Bradshaw

Vice President Purchasing

 

Leslie L. Bradshaw, 53, is Vice President Purchasing of BWAY Corporation, a leading North American supplier of general line metal and rigid plastic containers.

Les, who assumed his current position in 2009, oversees global sourcing, including contract negotiation and inventory management. He directs teams managing all raw material procurement including resin and steel as well as all inbound and outbound logistics.

Les joined joining BWAY in 1997 as a plant controller in New Jersey. During 16 years with the company, he has progressed through a range of roles including Vice President & General Manager for the Aerosol business with profit and loss responsibility, Director of Materials Management & Operations Analysis, and Division Controller to name few. Along the way, his contributions to the business have ranged from implementing an Enterprise Resource Planning system across plants, enhancing and standardizing monthly plant financial analysis, developing cost effective raw material supply chains to negotiating successful sales and supply agreements.

Prior to BWAY, Les spent two years with Tiffany & Co. of Parsippany, New Jersey, serving as Cost Accounting Supervisor for both jewelry and specialty manufacturing. Responsibilities there ran the gamut of financial analysis and reporting, cost accounting and developing systems to more efficiently manage shop floor data, among others.

Les holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia and a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Supply Chain Management from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.  Additionally, Les maintains an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) status in the state of Virginia.
