Kevin W. McNair
Kevin W. McNair, 54, is Executive Vice President Operations of BWAY Corporation, a leading North American supplier of general line metal and rigid plastic containers. In addition, he is an executive officer of the BWAY Parent Company, Inc.
With 30 years in the Packaging industry, Kevin joined BWAY in his current position in 2011. Today, he oversees the activities of 25 metal, plastic and hybrid container manufacturing sites in Canada, Puerto Rico and the United States. In addition to overseeing Metal and Plastics manufacturing, Kevin’s Operations teams direct Safety and Quality, Engineering and Lean Enterprise/Continuous Improvement initiatives. Throughout his career, he has specialized in Lean Manufacturing techniques and processes embracing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to both drive operational improvements and achieve integration synergies following mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to BWAY, Kevin had worked at Rexam PLC since 2007 serving most recently as Director Global Operations, Healthcare. In this role he led the integration of the healthcare business to a single division with sites in North America, Europe, and Asia. As Rexam Director Global Operations for the Plastics Sector, he oversaw the standardization of KPIs around the world. Additionally, he was responsible for EHS, Lean Enterprise and mold manufacturing. Before Rexam, he spent 16 years at Owens-Illinois, Inc., serving as Vice President Global Manufacturing Operations Closures and Plant Manager for sites in Illinois, Georgia and Tennessee.
While working for Rexam and Owens-Illinois, he served on the boards of directors for companies in India and Mexico. He is a member of the Society of Plastics Engineers and attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, running cross-country and track.
