Jeffrey M. O’Connell

Senior Vice President, Finance

Jeffrey M. O’Connell, 59, is Senior Vice President, Finance of BWAY Corporation, a leading North American supplier of general line metal and rigid plastic containers. In addition, he is an executive officer of the BWAY Parent Company, Inc.

In this role, Jeff oversees a range of functions including Treasury management, Insurance, Legal, Investor Relations, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. He joined the company in 1994 as a Director Financial Planning and also has served as Assistant Treasurer and Vice President Treasurer at the company. Jeff has worked in the Packaging industry for 25 years.

Prior to BWAY, Jeff was Vice President Administration for Mead Coated Board Division, part of Mead Corporation, as well as Director Business Analysis for Mead Corporation, now MeadWestvaco. In addition, earlier in his career, he was Vice President Finance for MacMillan Bloedel Packaging, Inc.

He has a Master of Business Administration degree from Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan, and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
