Jeffery W. Sprick

Jeffery W. Sprick, 44, is Vice President Corporate Controller of BWAY Corporation, a leading North American supplier of general line metal and rigid plastic containers.

Jeff joined BWAY in June 2011 in his current role and oversees a team directing financial functions, accounts and compliance for the company. This includes accounting operations, financial reporting and controls, cash management, and budget.

With 23 years of experience in corporate financial leadership, Jeff has worked in a variety of industries in addition to Packaging, such as Consumer Products, Home Building, Mining and Metals, Paper, and Private Label. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for a full range of financial policies, activities and tasks for both publicly traded and privately held businesses including regulatory compliance and filings.

Prior to BWAY, he most recently served as Vice President, Controller and Chief Accountant for Cellu Tissue Holdings, Inc., and also spent five years with Mueller Water Products, a part of Walter Industries, where he was promoted to Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer. Earlier in his career, Jeff spent more than 12 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers rising to Senior Manager Audit and directing U.S. and international project teams.

Jeff is Treasurer of the Roswell Soccer Club, a youth sport organization in Georgia.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Michigan.
